Easystair help give SSAFA a Lift!

One of the UK’s leading independent stairlift consultants, Easystair, are showing their support for the men and women of the British Armed Forces by donating a percentage of the profit made from their stairlift sales.

Based in Lancashire, Easystair is now one of the countries leading stairlift suppliers and is an authorised dealer for some of the industries most well known manufacturers including Minivator, Brooks, Bison Bede and Platinum.

The company who specialise in both new and reconditioned stairlifts wanted to publicly share their support for SSAFA and show their appreciation for the men and women of the armed forces. Richard Pollard, Managing Director of Easystair had this to say:

“I have long admired the work done by SSAFA in supporting the families of our armed forces over many, many years. As SSAFA often help with the procurement of stairlifts I feel it is only right that Easystair does something to support them. Well done SSAFA!”

The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) offers a range of support services for those currently in the armed forces, and those that have served in the forces and their families. Established over 100 years ago the help provided by SSAFA is as invaluable now as it was at their conception.

Continually evolving to reflect the changing needs and challenges faced by the service community SSAFA volunteers and representatives provide continuous support to contemporary veterans and the soldiers, sailors and airmen of earlier conflicts.

The services are freely available to anyone with a connection to the Armed Forces, including those that are currently serving and those that have served. Recognising the different needs and challenges faced by current and ex-service men and women whether it is a financial, practical or emotional issues, SSAFA have helped to make a difference to over 50,000 lives.

Easystair are donating a percentage of the profit from the sales of their straight and curved stairlifts to the organisation and hope to give the charity a well deserved lift on an ongoing basis!
